King Ludwig II. became one of the first aficionados of Eilles Gourmet, after being introduced to the coffee by the roaster Joseph Eilles. His premises in Munich’s Residenzstrasse were already well known to coffee connoisseurs by the time he was promoted to purveyor of the Royal Bavarian Court in 1873.

Although Eilles is one of the most traditional brands for fine gourmet products in Germany - we still keep our traditional secrets, i.e. the process of production or of our suppliers. We only co-operate with outstanding manufactures, vinyards, roasters and tea plantations and still present the "royal quality".
Our Gourmet Temple
Since more than 125 years you find us in the heart of Munich. Our shop, Residenzstrasse 13, is located next to the Munich state opera and kept its original interior. With every purchase you are a part of our Eilles gourmet world.
